This policy covers offlinefamilyguide.com. For questions about personal information or a rights request, use Contact Nancy. Last updated: September 16, 2026.
The short version
You can read the guides, use the activity finder and download the free starter pack without an account or email signup. We do not ask for children’s names or birthdays. This version of the website does not load advertising pixels, third-party analytics, embedded social widgets or remote font services.
Browsing the website
Your browser sends technical information needed to request a page, including your IP address, requested URL and browser information. The web host processes these requests to deliver the site and may keep access or security logs. These are separate from the activity choices saved in your browser. We do not use a visitor account system or a personalized advertising profile.
Free tools and saved choices
The activity finder runs in your browser. Its age field is an age range for matching an activity, not a request for a child’s identity. Saved activity IDs and cookie preferences use local storage on your device. They are not sent to us or synced to another device. You can delete saved ideas with the tool’s clear button or remove site data in your browser settings. Local storage remains until you clear it.
Contact messages
The contact form asks for your name, email address, a topic and the message you choose to send. We use these details to answer your request, correct a problem or handle support. Submitting the form does not sign you up for marketing. The delivery service processes the message and the site can use a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit spam. The form does not accept file uploads. Please do not include sensitive information about a child.
How long messages are kept
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with the request and related follow-up. Our target is to delete routine resolved enquiries within 12 months. We may retain records longer where needed for a purchase, a dispute, security or a legal obligation. The short-lived anti-spam counter expires after one hour; its storage is cleaned on subsequent requests. Browser favorites remain under your control.
Printables and purchases
The free PDF downloads directly without an email address. No payment details are collected on this website. If you follow a purchase link, the seller or checkout service named on that page explains the payment, delivery and data handling before you pay. Affiliate retailers process orders under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your card details from them.
Outside links and Pinterest
Retailer links and Pinterest Save buttons take you to an outside service only when you choose to open them. The destination can receive technical request information and use its own cookies. A Pinterest Save link includes the public article URL, image URL and description; it does not include your activity finder selections. Affiliate links can identify the referring publisher for commission purposes. Review the destination’s privacy information before providing personal details.
Cookies, tracking and your choices
No optional analytics or marketing tags are connected in this release. The core tools do not need them. Where a consent preference has been stored, you can withdraw it below; browser controls can also clear site data. We do not sell contact messages or use them for targeted advertising.Service providers and international processing
Hosting and message delivery providers can process information on our behalf to run the site and deliver enquiries. An outside retailer or social service acts under its own privacy policy when you visit it. Because this is a Swiss-operated website for an international audience, those services may process information outside your country. Contact us for information about the services handling your particular request.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to your situation, you can request access to, correction or deletion of personal information and may have rights to restrict, object to or receive a copy of processing data. Send a request through Contact Nancy and explain what you need; we may need enough information to verify your identity. You can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or the competent authority where you live. Mandatory rights are not limited by this policy.
Children and changes
The website is written for adults choosing activities for children. We do not invite children to contact us or create profiles. If a child has submitted identifying information, contact us so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate. We update this page when the site’s practices change, including when new services are introduced.
